Michael T. Inzerillo, MBA, RPH, has over 20 years’ experience in community hospitals, academic medical centers, and business and professional organization settings. In addition to completing an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists accredited residency, Michael has practiced as a Drug Information Pharmacist, Assistant Director and Director of Pharmacy, and Senior Management Consultant for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc., where he developed, sold, and implemented hospital pharmacy consulting services.

As Corporate Director of Pharmacy for Business Development, Michael reviews all vendor contracts and facilitates their implementation across a six-hospital health system. He also manages cost-savings initiatives throughout the system to include therapeutic interchange and brand-to-generic conversion. Michael also provides project management expertise to a variety of business functions, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and disproportionate share hospital pricing.

Previously, Michael served as Director of Pharmacy, Beth Israel Medical Center, in New York City, New York, where he was responsible for all aspects of outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services, including Formulary Management and new program development.

Michael graduated from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy with a BS in pharmacy and from Fordham University Graduate School of Business, completing his MBA with a concentration in finance. He remains active in the educational process by serving as Program Director for the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists’ accredited Pharmacy Practice Residency at Beth Israel, as well as presenting lectures and workshops to a variety of audiences.
